Calculate your fleet's benefits in kind in 2 minutes
Estimate potential savings before automating the calculation. The Fleeti simulator applies the 2026 URSSAF scale, compares the flat-rate and actual-cost methods, and projects employer and employee costs for 1 to 500 vehicles. No account needed, instant results.
How Fleeti calculates a company car's benefit in kind in four steps
The calculation follows four successive steps, with no manual entry after initial setup. Vehicle data is collected, business and personal use is rebuilt, both methods are compared, then the payroll export is generated. Every step is automated and auditable.
Flat-rate or actual-cost method: what Fleeti compares every month
The flat-rate method applies a standard percentage (15%, 20%, 50% or 67%) to the vehicle's value or annual cost. The actual-cost method rebuilds the benefit in kind from the business and personal kilometres actually driven. Fleeti calculates both in parallel for every vehicle and automatically keeps the more favourable method, which payroll can change manually.
Benefit-in-kind data sources by vehicle type
Each vehicle type draws on different data sources. Fleeti standardises them to produce a consistent benefit-in-kind calculation across your whole fleet, whether combustion or electric, owned or leased. The table below summarises the sources used by category and the corresponding Fleeti integrations.
Fleeti sources: purchase price including VAT, vehicle age, whether fuel is paid by the employer. Scale applied: 15% of the purchase cost including VAT for vehicles under five years old, 20% if the employer pays for fuel.
Leased combustion vehicles
Fleeti sources: total annual lease cost (payments, maintenance, insurance), with a direct connection to leasing companies Arval, Ayvens and Alphabet. Scale applied: 50% of the total cost, 67% if fuel is included.
Fully electric eco-scored vehicles
Fleeti sources: vehicle value, ADEME environmental score, electricity costs excluded. Allowance applied: 70% on the flat-rate benefit in kind, capped at €4,641.60 a year until 31 December 2027.
Chargers provided by the employer
Fleeti sources: employer funding, installation location (home, site, workplace). Rule applied: excluded from the benefit in kind if the charger is at the workplace, until 31 December 2027.
Business and personal kilometres (actual-cost method)
Fleeti sources: OEM manufacturer data, driver mobile app, working hours. Time-stamped supporting documents, compliant with the Court of Cassation ruling of 9 January 2025.
Payroll and DSN data
Native connectors to Sage, Pennylane, Silae, Cegid and ADP, in CSV and DSN XML formats. Monthly summary by vehicle and employee, ready for the social security declaration.
